How does sig srt work

No real special tools required. Almost anyone handy with their hands can perform this upgrade without taking the gun to a gunsmith and paying to have it done. Although the disclaimer is your factory warranty is voided if you don't have a qualified Sig Armory person do the kit replacement.

It really didn't bother me any and I will just put the old parts back in if I should ever have a warranty issue where I would need to send the gun back to the factory. This upgrade was well worth the money and time.

I'm not sure what the difference is between Sig's SRT kit and Armory Craft's or Gray Gun's but I'd be hard pressed to think how it could be almost 2x as good considering those other guys' kits are almost 2x the price. The standard reset isn't long necessarily but it'll sort of "kick" the trigger forward and will force you to take up quite a bit of slack before the you hit the wall.

Whereas with the SRT, if you let the trigger out all the way after your shot, there is still take-up however if you play only the reset, there is no forced take up only the wall.

It's difficult for me to describe but I'm sure there are numerous videos on You Tube that will accurately depict what I'm saying. Well worth the money and relatively easy to install.

In this kit i received the 2 main components as individually packaged factory original parts and minus the decocker. You dont need the decocker anyway so this option was exactly what I needed without the extra nonsense fir a fraction of the price if the kit.
