Zombie farm how long do crops last
Hi all, do you have problem with getting seeds from zombie farms? With every iteration I lose more and more seeds, so I see no possibility to start farming gold vegetables. I have to manually grow new seeds every now and then to keep them going.
I am not sure if having better zombos will grow more seeds, I am working on improving my zombo workforce with better body parts, so I will find out sooner or later, but for now zombo farms provide diminishing returns, although semi-auto farming is still pretty good for makng crates for cash. I haven't tested it extensively, but it varies how many seeds they return.
The first gold pumpkin run returned 27 gold seeds 3 over and the second returned 23 gold seeds 1 under. The gold lentils run returned 27 gold seeds. Last edited by ishe ; 3 Nov, pm. Maybe it just effects the work speed?
A shame we can't supply the zombie farm with fertilizer, to get rid of this problem. Strawberry Seeds. Tomato Seeds. Potato Seeds. Please enable JavaScript to pass antispam protection! I can see how his barf would destroy the crops. I have the crops in the open on the ground. Showing 1 - 15 of 15 comments. I don't think they go out of their way to destroy anything but you, yes, they will knock down trees and smash through rock boulders but only when they are in the way of getting to you.
Your best bet is to plant in an area away from your place of residence, or, just vacate to a secondary safe place when they arrive to lead them away from your crops. Yeah I am working on a second and third spot. Figured if those barfing cops can take out blocks, then they could easily take out a block with a chest on it and then I lose what is in the chest. They are on the wall up high but he seems to barf high and long distances. You have to use the fertilizer only once to upgrade the farm, it lasts forever.
Take a zombie near the farm, hit "E" to put it to work, and "E" again to remove it from the farm. Stand next to the zombie, hit "E" to select, and then select which crop should be produced or upgrade the farm. It takes a while for the crops to be produced - the higher the tier of the farm and the higher the work effiency of the zombie, the faster they work.
You'll see a progress bar below the crop that's currently produced. After a while the products are stored automatically in a trunk of the kitchen garden. This sign on the farm means that the trunk is full or missing and the work is blocked until some storage space is freed up or constructed.
Note: The number of crops produced, that are shown in this table and in the GUI of the farm, are only averages.
